The construction of the new Olympic Stadium demands tough quality control measures, Hanson Premix have taken the lead by installing WaterWatch-232 systems on all trucks operating from that site.

The critical mix designs involved in the construction means that strict slumping control is implemented at the plant and that traceability of any site-added water is vital.

Jim Farley, Hanson’s Operations Manager for the site, explained that the WaterWatch systems were greatly helping to improve product quality, making returned loads a thing of the past. Waste material is also being reduced on what is to considered to be the most environmentally sustainable Olympic projects of all time.
